Summary of Activities Conducted During Special Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) – 2023

Sacred Heart Convent School, Barnala, observed Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) from October 30, 2023 to November 5, 2023 in accordance with Circular No. Acad – 125/2023 dated October 27, 2023. The following activities took place during this week:

Integrity Pledge
Students from classes 10 to 12, teachers and school staff members participated in the Integrity Pledge, as outlined in Annexure 1.

Seminar
A seminar was organized for both students and staff, aiming to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of corruption in society. The focus was on instilling values such as honesty, hard work, and morality in children.

Morning Intercom Assembly
The morning Intercom assembly, focused on highlighting the adverse consequences of corruption and its impact on social and economic development was conducted. Emphasis was placed on how educated individuals can actively support anti-corruption initiatives and contribute to building a corruption-free society.

E-Pledge
Students from classes 10 to 12 and staff members took the E-Pledge by visiting the official website of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).
